Community has been at the heart of Manchester City Football Club since the very beginning, when the Connell family formed a team with the aim of tackling social issues in Manchester. Today, that connection with the community remains strong, and the Club are committed to making a positive difference through charitable activity.
We believe that football is a powerful tool, with the ability to tackle problems and uplift communities. In addition to the charitable work we deliver directly for thousands of people in Manchester and beyond, MCFC also offers in kind support to charities and community groups through a range of activities.
Endeavours are made to support as many organisations as possible in a variety of ways, but due to the overwhelming amount of requests received each week, Manchester City are unable to grant every request. Priority is given to the requests of local good causes, with a particular emphasis on those operating within the East Manchester area. No monetary or sponsorship contributions are available.
All requests must be submitted at least six (6) weeks in advance of the event via this online request form or via a written letter to the Charities Department, Etihad Stadium, Manchester, M11 3FF. No telephone requests will be accepted.
Requests for merchandise will only be considered if the following information is included: Description of event / activity, date, place, time of event, charity name and number, supporting letter from charity, postal address, and phone number. Where a charity name, number and supporting letter is not available, please explain why (e.g. school request).
We wish you the very best of luck in your fundraising efforts.
