Ready Steady Work
The ‘Ready, Steady, Work’ qualification allows learners the opportunity to gain a recognised OCR qualification. The programme is ideal for year 10 and 11 students looking to improve their employability skills.
Students engage with CITC staff throughout the applied learning sessions, giving students the opportunity to relate to an employer.
This programme is flexible and can be delivered as part of an option or alternative pathway. Approximately 70 guided learning hours are required to deliver the programme. This programme is an opportunity for students to take part in a unique learning experience whilst gaining qualifications along the way.
Units studied include:
- Assessing myself for work
- Learning to be financially capable
- Preparing for, and learning from interviews
- Presenting personal information effectively.
- Preparing for, and learning from a work placement.
