Reece Wabara joined the Blues in 2007 from Walsall’s School of Excellence.

Born in Birmingham, the versatile defender has progressed through City’s Academy and graduated, making his first senior appearance as a substitute against Bolton Wanderers in the final game of the season in May 2011.

He received his first England call-up in the same month, playing for the Under 20s against France. He was also named in the England Under-20 World Cup squad in Colombia during summer 2011.

Reece joined Oldham Athletic on loan on September 15 2012 for one month.
