About City Square
City Square is unique in British football, the Club's response to fans' unswerving loyalty with a matchday experience that goes far beyond the 90 minutes of football on the pitch.
City Square is a bespoke fanzone area outside the north end of the Etihad Stadium created especially to enhance the day for the supporters who enjoy the buzz every game.
A heady mix of music, entertainment, live interviews, live bands, giant LED screens and big-name guests makes it a must for many fans to check into the Square hours before kick-off.
A trio of presenters - radio's Hugh Ferris, Natalie Pike and the inimitable Fanzone Danny - make Live From City Square's combination of fun and football an unmissable two-hour show.
Since City Square launched in August 2010, a host of celebrities, star players and up-and-coming local bands have helped make home games at the Etihad Stadium into special events.
CityStore, the fans' first port of call for all things Blue, is right there too at the top of Joe Mercer Way for those who enjoy a spot of retail therapy.
Food is served until 15 minutes before kick-off, when the Square closes for the match. Amongst the regular matchday treats you'll also find weekly specials such as fish&chips, Corned beef hash and the infamous Manchester Egg has also starred on the City Square menu.
Then the show resumes after the final whistle, with post-match analysis, big-screen interviews and the chance for fellow Blues to debate the game's key points until the traffic eases.
And if it rains? a series of stylish waterproof canopies keeps fans dry, City Square has got it all covered. Literally.
