City u18s went down 4-1 to Tottenham Hotspur in a disappointing trip to North London.
It was the third successive league defeat for the young Blues, who faced a tough test against a Spurs side which has now taken maximum points from their opening six fixtures.
For this trip to the capital, Jason Wilcox shuffled his back. Angus Gunn was preferred to Billy O'Brien between the posts, Charlie Oliver partnered Nathaniel Oseni at the back while Angelino took his place on the bench after making his debut for Patrick Vieira's EDS side against Liverpool on Monday.
City took to the field in an impressive setting at the new Tottenham Academy under the watchful eyes of several England coaches, and they enjoyed the perfect start when they won a free kick on the edge of the box within 60 seconds of kick-off.Read full match report
