How do you get to the Etihad Stadium? One way is practice. Here are the others.
There is a safe, well lit and signposted walking route available from Manchester Piccadilly Station. Signage will direct you along the route.
Please follow the ‘City Link’ signs. Download the Stadium map which shows the designated safe walking route.
It will take approximately 25-minutes to walk to the Etihad Stadium from the city centre.
Have you ever considered cycling as part of your journey?
Why not try cycling to the bus/train/Metrolink Station, leaving your bike at one of the cycling parking options available and continuing your journey on public transport to the Etihad Stadium?
Should you wish to cycle all the way to the Etihad Stadium, there are a number of bike racks around the stadium. Please ensure you secure your bike correctly.*
Cycling can save you time as it is often quicker than other forms of transport, allowing you to beat the rush hour traffic and ensure you don’t miss that all important kick off.
Designed with cyclists in mind, you can access maps containing all cycle routes in each of the ten districts of Greater Manchester. These maps also include details for bike parking, cycle services and shops.
*Manchester City Football Club accepts no liability and all bikes are left at your own risk.
There are a number of public bus services available from all directions.
At the end of the match buses will be lined up on Ashton New Road next to the South Stand, to take you back to the city centre, where you can connect onwards or celebrate a win.
Based on supporter feedback, stewards will be on hand this season to help manage the queues more effectively at the end of the match.
