Three promising City youngsters have been named in the England Under 17 squad for the Nordic Tournament in August.

Defender Ellis Plummer, who can play either at centre back or left back, and midfield schemer Louis Hutton have received their call-up papers from Kenny Swain alongside recent recruit Alex Henshall.

England will defend their title by playing Denmark, Iceland and hosts Finland and if successful will take on one of Sweden, Scotland, the Faroe Islands or Norway.

George Evans, Shay Facey and Courtney Husband have also been placed on standby for the tournament.
