CITC will hit the road with a new set of wheels thanks to our latest partner ICP Networks.

The South Manchester based IT and Networking specialists ICP Networks have provided the City in the Community Foundation with the vehicle as part of a new four year partnership.

The vehicle will primarily be used to deliver a new CITC Road Show project which is set to be launched in early March.

This amazing support from ICP Networks will have a very positive impact and huge benefit to the scheme over the course of the four year agreement. As a result of the new vehicle CITC are aiming to take the new Road Show project to a target of 150 schools in the next 18 months.

The Road Show project is part of the Premier League School Sport programme which aims to provide high quality sports coaching in Primary schools linked to the national curriculum for Physical Education. More details about the Road Show will be announced in the coming weeks.

This is the second phase of the partnership between CITC and ICP Networks since it was launched in September 2013, phase one involved the donation of 45 7” Lenovo tablets which are set to re-invigorate the way that CITC delivers health and educational projects in schools. Watch Alvaro Negredo delivering a Spanish lesson using the tablets at the launch event.

ICP Networks MD Matt Archer, said: "We are honoured to be able to support CITC and to be able to give something back to the community that has allowed our business to flourish over the past twelve years.”

Mike Green, Head of CITC, said “The support of partners like ICP Networks is invaluable to City in the Community’s work in Greater Manchester. We are really happy to have them on board as our latest partner and really grateful for the donations of tablets and sponsorship of the new van”.

City in the Community would also like to thank Richard Cook at Warrington Vehicle Centre (www.wvc.uk.com) for helping us with the purchasing of the vehicle and Neil Cousins and his team at Image Group UK (www.imagegroupuk.com) for doing such a fantastic job with the vehicle branding.
