Following a Club statement made on 28th January 2009 in relation to an investigation being carried out by West Yorkshire Police, Manchester City Football Club makes the following announcement.

The Crown Prosecution Service has reviewed the evidence gathered during the course of the investigation and have concluded that no further action will be taken in this case. Robinho, who had co-operated fully with the Police throughout the enquiry, will face no charges and the matter is now closed.
