Well here’s their chance to see the Manchester derby on us.* All they have to do is upload a video showing the reason why they should win to etihadfootball.com/cominghome.  We’ll show the best entry on the website and at every home game between now and March.  You will have the chance to vote throughout March for the winner, who will receive two return tickets, 3 night’s accommodation, VIP hospitality at the game, and executive seats! 

This week’s winning entry is Wilf Smith who’s nearest Etihad destination is Toronto.  Wilf has been a True Blue since the early 1940’s.  He was born within walking distance of Old Trafford in 1934…Why did he become a City fan? The answer is one man -Frank Swift- his idol.

He immigrated to Canada in 1963, but kept up his support from a distance with mail from his family.  Wilf now coaches junior soccer in Delta, British Columbia, and tries to pass on the finer points of the "beautiful game".  When he retired in 1999, one of his customers presented him with a City Shirt with his name on the back.  It is his finest treasure, and one day he hopes to come home and get it signed by today’s City players.  His memorabilia includes Peter Doherty's biography and Century City signed "To Wilf, a True Blue, Ken Barnes".    

So, why does Wilf want to be flown home with Etihad…

I would dearly like to come home to see City one last time against the Reds and think this would be a reward for being a True Blue for 66 Years
