A youthful Manchester City squad recently gained some invaluable experience on a two-game visit to Switzerland.
The Elite Development Squad was augmented by six players from the Academy, including Under 17 World Cup-winning defender Freddy Veseli who returned to his home country just a couple of weeks after the Swiss triumph in Nigeria.
Our comprehensive video review of the tour is now available to watch. There are interviews with former reserve team manager Glyn Hodges, club secretary Bernard Halford and footage from the games against Grasshoppers of Zurich and Young Boys of Berne.
Striker Robbie Mak's outstanding solo goal against the former is featured and there is a look behind-the-scenes at how the squad, including Dedryck Boyata just ahead of his call to the senior bench, trained and prepared during the five-day trip that took place shortly before Christmas.
