Thanks for all the great, clean, captions you sent in for our Twitter competition they kept the website office bubbling with laughter all morning.

There were scores of candidates but in the end we plumped for the one above which was sent in by RickHincks

‘Work already started on building a new trophy room’ was Aidy Lewis’ effort that ran the winner close.

And ‘Ctidhants’ encapsulated what many others touched upon with his witty:  "When Hughes told me that we were building the club from the ground up, I didn't think he meant literally, you three can dig and I'll drive the dumper I've been here longer!"
