Bids still open for poppy shirts

Fans are reminded that the shirts worn by City in the game against Burnley are being auctioned off in aid of the Royal British Legion.

Each shirt featured the poppy, the emblem of the British Legion, and will be available through a sealed bids auction.

Bids should be submitted by post to The County Manager, The Royal British Legion, 4th Floor, Byrom House, 21 Quay Street, Manchester M3 3JD.

Please clearly mark your envelope ‘Manchester City shirts auction’ and include your contact details along with details of your bid. Please do not send cheques, you will be informed if your bid has been successful.

The closing date for bids will be Friday 27th November and the shirts available belong to Micah Richards, Wayne Bridge, Pablo Zabaleta, Michael Johnson, Stephen Ireland, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Martin Petrov, Gareth Barry, Joleon Lescott, Emmanuel Adebayor, Kolo Toure, Carlos Tevez, Nigel de Jong, Craig Bellamy and Vladimir Weiss.
