City stars turned out in force to make Ben Hardcastle’s dreams come true.

The avid six-year-old Blues fan is bravely battling a brain tumour and through the ‘When You Wish Upon a Star’ organisation dropped in to visit his heroes. Watch our video of Ben visiting Carrington here.

Carlos Tevez gave the youngster from Godley a pair of his boots and a signed shirt and he got to meet all the first team squad including his new favourite player, Wales international Craig Bellamy. Robinho broke off treatment on his injury to say a big hello, shake hands and have his picture taken with Ben.

Seasoncard holder Ben, who goes to City matches with dad Lee, also got to banter with boss Mark Hughes and coaches Mark Bowen, who conducted the tour of the inner sanctum, and Eddie Niedzwiecki.

Ben has also struck up a special friendship with another huge City fan Ricky Hatton, who recently attended a party to raise money for the plucky youngster.
