Half-term activities at City

There are lots of great reasons to spend half-term@city. Mancheter fun filled activites throughout the half term.

There are fun activities around the City of Manchester every day, and there’s the Kids For A Quid offer for the Carling Cup tie against Scunthorpe United on Wednesday, October 28th.

The half term at City action all kicks off on Monday with fun-filled football sessions with CITC outside the CityCentre store at the end of Joe Mercer Way. The sessions run from 2pm to 4pm on every day next week, are for all ages and abilities, and are completely free of charge.

The store will host a signing session with a member of the first team squad on Tuesday, October 27th from 2pm. There will be limited numbers allowed to this event, but if you want to come along please register your interest by sending your name and home address to live4city@mcfc.co.uk

There’ll be lots of entertainment around the ground on Wednesday ahead of the visit of Scunthorpe for the Carling Cup fourth round, plus a live acoustic set in the store from members of local band Air Cav. A ticket to the game will also get you a £5 discount on our Urban and Classic ranges when spending £20 or more at CityCentre – offer valid from day of purchase until October 31st.

Moonchester and Moonbeam will be around all week, and on Thursday young fans can have their photos taken with our friendly neighbourhood alien mascots. There’s also free shirt printing for the third kit only all day.

Lots of young City fans have already joined our junior membership scheme, LIVE4CITY, and some will be modelling City’s Kidswear clothing range at a fashion show at CityCentre at 2pm on the Friday of half-term. Membership of LIVE4CITY is free, go to the Live4City web site for more information on how to join up.  The week’s events come to a conclusion with a day of free family activities and sports around the stadium hosted by CITC on Saturday, October 31st.
