To embrace the ethos of putting the fans at the heart of everything we do, City and our new Official Sponsor, Etihad Airways, are launching a brand new Etihad Player of the Month award that will give fans the opportunity to meet the players.

For the past few seasons the Player of the Month award has been voted for by a panel of local journalists, club and sponsor representatives. However this year, as a new sponsor, Etihad want the winner to be chosen by the supporters.

One lucky fan (and partner), who votes for the winning Etihad Player of the Month, will be drawn at random each month and invited to the Carrington Training Centre to present the award to the player and pose the opening question of their choice in an exclusive mcfc.co.uk video interview!
The first award for the season will be a joint award for August and September.  Going forward there will be a monthly award.

The winning fan will be given as much notice as possible about the presentation of the award which is subject to the training schedule and fixture list and will take place during the day.
