Yet again we’ve been spoilt this week on the MCFC social networks by the standard of your photography. The lengths (and heights) our supporters will go to in order to get that perfect MCFC shot is astounding!
This shot was actually taken by yours truly during a rather exhilarating walks around the roof at CoMS.
However it’s beaten hands down by this aerial view taken by Will McCoy during his Blue Experience helicopter flight.
As ever, not only do we love seeing your current MCFC photos but nostalgic images from Maine Road always twang the heartstrings on the City web team. None more so than the shot of the Main Stand turnstyles at Maine Road (above) shared by jf321_jf on Flickr.
Regulars at CoMS this season maybe recall this happy young lad (aka The Hot Dog Kid) whose mammoth task of eating that huge hot dog was followed on the stadium screens at each stoppage in play during the Arsenal Carling Cup tie and brought huge cheers from the City faithful. Thanks to lizeeeh on Flickr for posting.
On Twitter, we also received this excellent etch-a-sketch drawing of City’s Argentinean ace Carlos Tevez, painstakingly crafted by the little brother of @shakedowntown
Over on Facebook, we were delighted to welcome our 90,000th fan to the official MCFC page this week and have set ourselves the challenge of getting 100,000 Blues in one place by the end of the season!
Also, the reaction to this week’s excellent Behind the Scenes video following our kit man Les Chapman and his team to Fulham away brought calls from our Facebook fans for Les to get his very own fan page – what d’ya say, Chappy!?
