City have been drawn to face West Brom at The Hawthorns in the third round of the Carling Cup on September 22.
It's a tie that will have older Blues fans smiling - City beat Albion at Wembley in 1970 to win the then-League Cup with goals by Mike Doyle and Glyn Pardoe.
