Season 2009/10
Standing fans mean fewer seats
- Fri 05 Mar 2010, 1:47PM
The Club have received a reduced allocation of 2,700 tickets for the Barclays Premier League match against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on March 14 (4pm).
This is an unfortunate consequence of some of our supporters persistently standing during away matches last season, and the reduced figure has been sanctioned by the Safety Advisory Group.
The authorities have the power to further reduce our allocation of seats in future if supporters do not comply with the safety rules that govern persistent standing at grounds.
