Welcome to a new, regular piece on MCFC.co.uk where we highlight the pick of the fan produced content on the official MCFC Facebook page, Twitter feed and Flickr group.
Earlier on this week, we asked fans of the Official MCFC page on Facebook to suggest a question for Patrick Vieira which would then be filmed for a special clip to be shown exclusively on the page. We can’t announce who’s questions got chosen yet but we had some great entries including –
Josh Todkill – ‘Which of your former team mates, that is still playing today, would you like to see at City?’
Ben Mottram – ‘Do you have any superstitions before games?’
Evan Halnon – ‘What is one thing that has surprised you about coming back to England?’
And a rather cheekie question from Clint ‘Shay Given’ Tinsley – ‘Can you give me 10% of your weekly wage and I'll give you 10% of mine?’
Also, if you missed it, we shared some hilarious outtakes from the Etihad skills video featuring Stephen Ireland, Gareth Barry, Joleon Lescott and our very own kitman extraordinaire, Les Chapman exclusively on to the MCFC Facebook page.
Over on Twitter, there was much debate over our latest photo competition where we asked our followers who they thought the player was in this picture. We had tons of entries but our winner was @PaulCTayla who correctly guessed that it was Roque Santa-Cruz and bagged himself some CityStore vouchers.
We also had a message from @Jason-Manford asking us whether Les Chapman was going to release a book? What do you say, Chappie?
Our photo of the day series on Flickr is concluding its second week today. We’ve had some brilliant fan photographs posted in the MCFC Flickr group for our enjoyment so if you’re a budding City photographer, add your images and they might be featured!
The pick of the week’s photos include –
This wonderfully arty shot of CoMS taken by Blu3b0n3, one of our Flickr group members.
A sea of Blue! Taken by Neil Sproston
And the evocative shot of the Kippax Stand at Maine Road (featured at the top of this page) by 'Waka Jawaka'
All you need to do to be involved in MCFC and social media is to join one of our networks and get debating and creating!
