It’s been a typically busy week on the MCFC official fan page on Facebook, with suggestions for the next Umbro Playlist for the visit of Wigan on Monday coming in thick and fast.  The theme for this match is songs featuring days of the week in the title. Lots to choose from there!

We’ve also been helping you decide who to vote for in the Etihad ‘Coming Home’ competition by introducing and focussing on each entrant as these far flung Blues bid to be flown over to see City take on United in April.

Our Facebook friends have also been treated to an exclusive interview with City fan and comedian Jason Manford who discusses the trials and tribulations of social networking.

The obvious disappointment of this week’s home defeat to Everton didn’t stop our followers on Twitter enjoying our live feed from the game and we’ve even seen fans doing their own reporting. ‘Adventurebaby’ in particular did a nice photo-reportage job; posting live images from the game off a mobile phone for the whole Twitter universe to enjoy!

Over on Flickr, ‘matcul’ posted this great image of a band playing outside the North Stand at Maine Road on City’s final day at the old stadium. It certainly brought back a few fond memories amongst the MCFC webteam!

This snap of the ‘Players Crossing’ at Carrington, posted by us earlier in the week intrigued many of our online supporters! Thanks to Tom Jenkins for the photo.
