Your Shout: City vs Everton

  • Thu 25 Mar 2010, 12:41PM

The first in a new fan-made series on mcfc.co.uk comes off the back of last night’s disappointing result against Everton at CoMS but win, lose or draw, we want to know what you thought.

17 year old Steven Allweis sent us a great, constructive report on last night’s game concluding in a warming message to all City fans to heed:

‘The Toffees left a bitter taste in the mouth, but it’s certainly not all doom and gloom. There are still eight games left to play, with a total of 24 points up for grabs, so the manager, players and supporters should remain hopeful and optimistic that we are to achieve our goal this season. I suppose it wouldn't be City if we did it the easy way!!’

Richard Hallas provides another honest account of City’s first home defeat of the season:

‘We’re too slow going forward which results in us letting (the opposition) get their shape back and the process starts again. At times we’re easy to defend against and as we all know on other days we can be unplayable.’

Ryan Howard presents us with what he believes is the Blues’ best starting XI:

(4-4-2) Given, Richards, Toure, Onuoha, Bridge, Wright-Phillips, Barry, Johnson, Bellamy, Tevez, Adebayor

We’ll be asking for your opinions of City vs Wigan next Monday night so make sure you email your post-match thoughts to your.shout@mcfc.co.uk
