City Square will be alive and kicking for the opening home game in Uefa’s Europa League.
The Europa League Trophy bus will be parked in the square which opens at 5pm and where, unlike inside the stadium, alcohol will be on sale.
For the younger fans face painters will be operating in City Square before they move into the family stand and for those who have been supporting the Blues a little longer there will be an interview with former skipper and manager Tony Book. City Square will close around 11pm.
For those fans that are coming to the stadium from Manchester City Centre, the Printworks shuttle buses will leave at 7pm and 7.10pm and return from Joe Mercer Way.
These shuttles are available to those taking advantage of the pre-match offers in the Printworks that are as follows:
Henry J Beans – blue cocktails and kids eat free with every full paying adult
Chiquitos - Kids eat free or 25% off the total bill
Old Orleans – 20% off your total bill
Waxy O Connor’s – Burger and pint for £8 or 20% off food bill
Opus - £2 drinks and 2 for 1 on burgers
Lloyds No 1 – 20% off selected main meals and a beer and burger from £5.49
