Man of the moment Yaya Toure delighted more than a hundred City fans at the CityStore on Manchester’s Market Street, and he now knows what Saturday's win means them and thousands of others.

The goal hero from Saturday’s memorable win at Wembley signed autographs and posed for photos for fans, many of whom had queued for hours to meet the Ivorian.

It was the ideal way for Blues’ followers to thank Yaya Toure for his match winning contribution, and he told mcfc.co.uk how the last few days have helped him understand why it means so much.

“It’s different from when I was at Barcelona, they had won everything already but helping this club to its first final in so long is an amazing feeling.

“We’ve made people really happy but we’ve only got to the final, now we have to go on and win it for them. I said when I came here I wanted to get to the Champions League, and we have to do that but it would be fantastic to win the FA Cup for our fans as well.”
