City’s outstanding community work has helped secure even more support for this Sunday’s fundraising extravaganza, the 2011 Santa Stroll.
When Paul Mizen, Managing Director of e-foods attended the MCFC CITC Foundation Community Shield reception at the Club’s offices in London and saw at first hand the fantastic work of CITC, both in Manchester and internationally, he was keen to learn more.
After on-going discussions with CITC Ambassador Paul Lake, he decided that he would like e-foods to support this year’s Sky Blue Santa Stroll. Paul has longstanding charitable commitments including the Army Benevolent fund, who be his guests at Saturday’s match with Norwich, and felt that Santa Stroll was the kind of large scale community event that he is so passionate about supporting.
“Caring about community and supporting Manchester charities is an important part of what e-foods is about. Seeing nearly 2,000 young Mancunians and families participate in a range of exciting activities on 4th December will be a very proud moment for the company and for myself,” Paul said.
E-Foods www.e-foods.co.uk was founded in Manchester in 2004 and has evolved to provide a range of supply solutions to the hospitality and catering sectors.
The Santa Stroll is all about Manchester City fans getting together, having fun and raising as much money as they can for vulnerable young people and families in Manchester. Thanks to Paul and e-foods sponsoring the Sky Blue Santa Stroll, even more money will go directly to the Shoot For The Moon partnership.
