City Square will be the place to be ahead of Saturday’s sell-out clash with Wolves.
The bars and cafes around the square will open just before 1pm, and if you want another look at the highlights of last Sunday’s derby – and why wouldn’t you?- then get there early as they will be up on the big screens.
Onstage, Live From City Square with Hugh Ferris and Natalie Pike will kick off at 1.15pm. Hugh will grab a word with one of the players as the team arrives, while actor and City fan John Henshaw will drop in for a chat.
Keep your eyes peeled for Fanzone Danny, as our roaming reporter will be grabbing people from the crowd to give them a chance of winning hospitality at a future home in our Instant Upgrade competition.
You’ll see the teams sheet read out live from the tunnel just before 2pm, followed by a quick word with Roberto Mancini.
In and around all this, two local bands will be going head-to-head in City Soundwave. Where’s Strutter? and The Undecided will each play two songs onstage, including their own readings of “Blue Moon” – you’ll be the judges as to which gets played in the stadium at half time!
And goodies galore will be up for grabs in the Barclays Ticket Booth – simply step inside and grab as many raffle tickets as you can – prizes from key rings up to seats at a Premier League match this season.
