With exciting plans for City's new Academy revealed on Monday, here are some stunning images of what is on the horizon.

Below is the designated location of the 80-acre site, adjacent to the Etihad Stadium and opposite Asda Eastlands. The new MCFC Academy will transform the area and dramatically increase the Etihad Campus to one of the most impressive training complexes in the world.

A state-of-the-art bridge would allow supporters, staff and players to walk from one area of the campus to another without crossing the busy dual carriageway as well as adding a notable new landmark to East Manchester.

Here is how the campus will look from the air - impressive or what? If you've not checked out the fly-through video, have a look and take a bird's eye view of everything...Etihad bird's eye

Within the campus will be a 7,000-seater stadium for Academy matches. This will mean bigger crowds, better facilities and a terrific venue for all manner of club acitivities.

And with young players resident on the site, training will stretch into the evening on pristine, floodlit pitches. In short, there will be everything needed for City's Academy to become a world leader in producing fantastic new talent at a jaw-dropping new facility.
