A delegation from Manchester City have this afternoon remembered all those who died in the 1958 Munich Air Disaster.

Former City star Uwe Rosler joined Acting Chief Executive John MacBeath, Life President Bernard Halford and former captain Tony Book to lay a wreath at the memorial stone at Manchesterplatz, near the site of the tragedy which happened on 6 February, 1958.

Vicky Kloss, Manchester City's Chief Communications Officer said, "The impact of the Munich Air Disaster crossed the footballing divide in Manchester, and as a club we continue to honour the memory of all those who lost their lives."
