The Blues are back in Barclays Premier League action - and there's only one place to be, leading up to kick-off against Wigan at the Etihad Stadium.

Live From City Square, the entertainment show that makes matchday extra special, will serve up fun and features galore for all the family before the main event at 3pm.

With the exciting new City Soundwave competition getting under way, last year's City Sound winners Coldside Generals will be playing, as will highly-rated guests Busker One.

And to continue the musical theme, Adio Marchant of bright young band Kid British will be on stage to talk tunes and the Blues along with popular Key 103 host Lucy Marchant.

Natalie Pike will be back to help along proceedings with MC Hugh Ferris, while Fanzone Danny will be roaming for your match predictions and questions for our star guests.

It's all as unmissable as ever! Here's the countdown that counts ...

13.25: "Live from CitySquare" begins.

13.30: Player arrival.

13.50: Launch of the City Soundwave competition with performance from Busker One and special guest Adio from Kid British and Lucy Horobin from Key 103.

14.00: The team sheet is read out in the tunnel to the gathered media - and you!

14.05: Instant upgrade competition – fans compete for the chance to enjoy matchday hospitality.

14.10: Interview with City coach and former England midfielder David Platt.

14.15: A cracking three-song set from City Sound winners Coldside Generals.

All this plus the bars and cafes, CITC family activities, and big-screen entertainment that make City Square the place to be. It's never made more sense to set off early ...
