Fancy meeting a Blues legend? You can dine with the greats and chew over a little bit of history too when City in the Community stage the inaugural City Legends dinner on Saturday 28 April.
With the derby just a couple of days later, the event at the Etihad Stadium - in partnership with the Manchester City Supporters Association - will celebrate classic encounters with United.
The dinner, hosted by Gary Owen, will help to raise funds for the newly-introduced Connell Awards, which recognise outstanding local community sports projects that seek to increase participation in East Manchester.
A host of former Manchester City stars will be there, representing the great side of the 1960s to the team that won a famous 5-1 victory over United at Maine Road in 1989, and beyond.
CITC has always worked closely with the supporters, and this joint venture further strengthens the on-going relationship with MCSA.
During the evening you will have the opportunity to put your questions to players, and there will be the chance for autographs and photographs with the former Blue of your choice.
Places will be strictly limited, and we have a tailored price range to meet all needs starting from £55 per person. All funds raised on the night will go to support the Connell Awards, which also recognise local individuals that promote youth sport in East Manchester.
Should you require any further information about the event or would like to book a place, please contact Alex Williams on 0161 438 7908 or alex.williams@mcfc.co.uk.
