It’s an early kick off on Wednesday, and City Square will be open for the early birds ahead of our clash with Porto.
Natalie Pike and Hugh Ferris will be Live from City Square from 3.30pm onwards, looking back at last Thursday’s superb victory in Portugal and building up to the 5pm start as the Blues look to win through to the last 16 of the Europa League.
Local band Candour will bring their hypnotic brand of garage rock to the stage, and watch out for Fanzone Danny as he roams around for your views on the game as well picking people out for the hospitality upgrade competition.
Keep your eyes out for Danny – you can’t really miss him, there’ll be a cameraman in close proximity - and you could be sampling City’s award-winning hospitality at a forthcoming game.
The bars and cafes will also be open for business from around 4pm – the concourse bars are closed, so if you fancy a pre-game pint City Square is the place for you.
And with specials of steak-and-onion baguettes and a tasty Portuguese fish pie, as well as all our usual fine fare, there are lots of options for an early tea!
There’ll be build-up from inside and outside the stadium on the big screens, you’ll see the team selection on screen and then hear from David Platt as he discusses it with Hugh Ferris.
Drop in at the square after the game, with the bars staying open and our pundits reacting to the evening’s events out on the pitch.
City Square – why go anywhere else?
