During Sunday’s blockbuster clash with Spurs, the Club captured a 360 degree, 5 billion pixel, ultra high resolution picture inside the Etihad Stadium, and now you can find yourself in it!
Were you at the game decked out head to toe in blue for #bluesunday?
If so, find and tag yourself and the best dressed fans in the stands will be chosen to win the prize of a lifetime for any City supporter – a place alongside the likes of Yaya Toure, Vincent Kompany and Roberto Mancini in the official team photo for the upcoming 2012/13 season.
Don't worry if you missed the game, though as there's another one-of-its-kind competition on City Fan Cam for everyone to get involved with.
Can you find Mario Balotelli, Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko and Samir Nasri hiding in the crowd? If so, you'll get the chance to win a signed shirt by that player and receive a personalised Facebook message from them.
We hope you enjoy City Fan Cam!
Although digital stadium panoramas have been done in the past, they have always felt one dimensional. The idea behind #bluesunday and City Fan Cam was to engage fans in the physical space on match-day and involve the wider international fan base digitally
Julian Pate, Head of Marketing MCFC
On the player-based competition, Russell Stopford, Head of Digital, at the club added: “The chosen players have a huge global appeal across social media. By harnessing the players’ international reach and creating engagement opportunities across multiple Club channels, we are able to bring our fans closer to club, regardless of where they are in the world.”
Tinus Le Roux, Founder of Gigapixel FanCam said: “Manchester City and its fans are the first Barclays Premier League side to become part of the FanCam family, We are excited to enable fans to celebrate and re-live this momentous event forever more. The combination of industry leading technology with social media engagement, delivers an unforgettable experience for the fans."
