A series of images showing life behind the scenes at Manchester City are being made available in aid of the Club’s charities as our Giving Week continues.
Fans and players mingled at the Carrington training centre on Monday night as a collection of shots from the collection of club photographer Sharon Latham were put on display. Former City keeper Shay Given also dropped in to take a look and meet up with some old friends.
The framed, limited edition prints were on sale to raise funds for Shoot for the Moon, City's partnership with Sport Relief that helps vulnerable young people and their families in Manchester achieve their goals.
The Snapshot evening showcased images never made publically available before, with Sharon explaining the stories behind the photos that reveal a side to the club far away from the public spotlight.
"The collection allows access to moments in time that most people are not normally privy to," says Sharon. "The world of the players off the pitch is a world in itself, and it's wonderful to be able to share it in aid of such a good cause."
Sarah Lynch, Managing Director of City In The Community added, "Sharon is a very special lady, and there's a great team of people alongside her that have helped with a lot of hard work and dedication to bring this fantastic event together."
Several of Sharon’s framed, limited edition prints will be available to buy online at a later date, with all proceeds going to Shoot for the Moon. Keep checking mcfc.co.uk for details.
