Paddy Power: QPR v City

London has been a happy hunting ground for City so far this season and a trip to Loftus Road to take on bottom of the table QPR is an excellent chance to extend that record.
With wins over Arsenal and Fulham and stalemates with Chelsea and West Ham, City are unbeaten in four visits to the capital this season.
Paddy Power, official bookmaker to Manchester City, fancy that record becoming five London matches without defeat and a hat-trick of victories this evening.
City are 1/2 to claim all three points in tonight’s showdown with a draw considered an outside possibility at 3/1.
Having won six games on the bounce in all competitions, City should be confident of claiming all three points against a QPR side that have improved under Harry Redknapp, but still find themselves bottom of the table and five points from safety.
The headaches QPR provided on the final day of last season contributed to the most dramatic final day in Premier League history, but City dealt with the challenge better when they hosted the Hoops in September, eventually running out 3-1 winners.
Since Rangers returned to the top flight in time for the 2011/12 season, City have won all three of their meetings, scoring precisely three goals in each of matches. The Blues have had few issues finding the back of the QPR net and are an interesting 7/2 to score exactly three goals tonight.
In fact, goals have rarely been in short supply in the three games since QPR’s return to the top tier. The teams have provided fourteen in those three games and backing that trend to continue is tempting.
Backing Manchester City to win and 3 or 4 total goals in the match is an 11/5 shot, whilst the slightly more ambitious option of backing City to win and 5 or more total goals in the match is 5/1.
When it comes to the Goalscorer markets, one name stands out from all the others. Edin Dzeko has faced QPR three times in his career and on each occasion, he has got his name on the score-sheet. The Bosnian striker is 5/1 to be First Goalscorer, 7/5 to score anytime and 15/8 on the Wincast of Dzeko to score and City to win.
