City in the Community are delighted to announce that a variety of former players will be appearing at their charity Golf Day, Blues on the Green.
Gary Owen, Tommy Booth, Joe Corrigan, Darren Beckford, Jim Melrose and Stan Horne will be joining competition host Alex Williams around 18 holes at the Mottram Hall Golf Course.
Places are still available for teams of four, or you can even request one of the above legends to join your team! With all proceeds from the £1000 team entry fee going toward supporting the work City in the Community do, the charity event will benefit a variety of young people across Manchester.
Taking place on the 10 October, all players will enjoy 18 holes of golf with a shotgun start, buggies for all players and an evening meal and entertainment. A panel of MCFC special guests will be announced shortly, and will be present in the evening for an question and answer session.
With great and individual prizes to be won, the day promises to be a test for all golfing fanatics.
