Carlos Tevez will start tonight as City’s Elite Development side aim to secure a place in the Manchester Senior Cup final against Bolton reserves at Hyde.

The Argentina striker played 45 minutes last week behind closed doors against Preston at Carrington to launch his bid to recover full match fitness for the title run-in.

Victory for Andy Welsh’s team will put the Blues into a final against Manchester United, who they defeated in an earlier MSC fixture in February.

City will line up: Johansen, Wabara, Helan, Ellabdellaoui, Rekik, Meppen-Walters, Roman, Scapuzzi, Suarez, Tevez, Bunn. Subs: F Mancini, Lawlor, Kennedy, Rusnak.
