City EDS return to Barclays u21 Premier League action with a trip to Norwich on Friday night.

It's been nearly four weeks since the last domestic league fixture for Patrick Vieira's men, who have since defeated Rochdale on penalties in the Manchester Senior Cup and travelled to Russia in the UEFA Youth League.

The Sky Blues earned a creditable 1-1 draw against CSKA Moscow on that occasion, with City's goal coming courtesy of EDS striker Devante Cole.

City and Norwich met twice in the league last term - the Sky Blues suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat away from home but exacted revenge when the Canaries returned to Hyde, recording a 3-1 win on their own patch.

George Evans and Alex Henshall have now departed on loan deals to Crewe Alexandra and Bristol Rovers respectively, while Marcos Lopes was ruled out of Wednesday's Capital One Cup clash with an injury and is likely to sit this one out.

Kick off at Carrow Road is at 7pm, and we'll bring you a full match report on shortly after full time.
