Needless to say, City’s stunning FA Cup Semi Final win over United on Saturday caused an incredible outpouring of emotion amongst the Blue faithful.
Thousands of City fans on Twitter sent over 6,000 messages using our special #cityatwembley tag to share the experience and to communicate with other supporters around the world.
The power of Twitter also helped fans share information on traffic, tubes and which pubs still had space as kick-off neared!
@TweetsofDrivel was one of the first City fans in Wembley over an hour before kick-off and sent an early view from their seat:
Shortly after our very own @edsulley provided Twitter with the first glimpse of the players before the game:
And this view of the dressing room:
Meanwhile @gaviniredale posted this photo of some Blues enjoying the atmosphere at one of London town’s fine drinking establishments:
Back at Wembley @ChrisBeckenham posted a view of Wembley filling up nicely as kick-off approached:
With 40 minutes to go @JemmaWolfe sent her support from Iguara Falls in South America:
Shortly after @mrcakey used his nose and noted that “the programmes smell like Panini stickers”
@Bung89 in Australia let one little Blue stay up late to watch the game:
