Our new 'Fifteen Minutes' features series gives City players just a quarter of an hour to reveal what they would do if time was of the essence!
Under the spotlight this time it's the man in the centre of the park, our midfield maestro James Milner.
If you could hold a conversation on the phone with anybody for 15 minutes, who would it be?
“I love my golf, so I’d have to say Tiger Woods.”
If you could spend 15 minutes with anybody, dead or alive, who would you pick?
“Tiger Woods again, just so I could pick up a few tips.”
If you could spend 15 minutes anywhere in the world where would you pick?
“I’d go for Augusta, Georgia for golfing reasons, of course.”
What is the worst 15 minutes of your career so far?
“Getting relegated with Leeds United in 2004.”
What do you do 15 minutes before a match?
“Normally I’d be just coming in from a warm-up so I’d take a carbo gel, put shin pads on, tape up and then put my shirt on, ready to go out.”
What do you generally do during the 15 minutes of half-time?
“Listen to the manager for most of it, take some fluids back on board and change my shirt – stuff like that.”
What do you do during the 15 minutes after the game has finished?
“Take a protein shake, listen to the manager’s views on the game and get ice on anything that needs it. Then I’d maybe jump in the ice-bath after that and then shower.”
Where could you be if you drove 15 minutes from your house?
If you had to watch 15 minutes of any film over and over again, which film would it be?
“I’d go for The Hangover, I think. The first one, not the follow –up, and I’d choose any 15 minutes from the film because they’re all watchable over and over.”
If you could wipe 15 minutes off any game in history, what would you choose?
“How about the last three minutes of the 1999 Champions League final when Man United scored two goals against Bayern Munich? You could keep the other 12 minutes! That’s the Leeds fan in me and I’m sure United fans would understand…”
If you could wipe 15 minutes off history, which would you choose?
“The moment the first plane hit the World Trade Center – that would then include everything that happened after as well.”
Andy Warhol was said that everybody is famous for 15 minutes. What has been your most famous 15 minutes so far?
“Difficult to say, but making my debut for Leeds aged 16 would have to be up there as well as becoming the youngest goal-scorer in the Premier League back in 2002.”
If you only had 15 minutes before the world ended, what would you do?
“Spend it with my family…”
Next on 'Fifteen Minutes,' we question our Dutch destroyer, Nigel de Jong.
