City u18s beaten 3-0 by Wolves in the Barclays u18 Premier League.
Three second half goals saw Adam Sadler’s men go down 3-0 to Wolves in their sixth league match of the season.
Despite an encouraging start when the Blues controlled the game and moved the ball around well, the more physical Wolves side won out on a tough afternoon in the Midlands.
There were positives in defeat for Sadler to draw on, including the performances of Jack Byrne off the bench, Bytyqi and McHale.
It was a match that emphasised the performance being more important than the result to City as they continued to play the game in the right way and they are sure to bounce back after the international break.
They will face Liverpool away on 20 October, looking to get back to winning ways.
