City skipper Richard Dunne has previewed today's clash against his former side, Everton, and stated the importance of picking up three points at home.

Speaking exclusively to MCFCTV.com, the Irishman said: "We want to start well and impose our game on them and make sure that we set the standards throughout the game and it's us dictating to them.

"We need to start winning our games and picking up points to give us a chance that come March and April we want to be looking for the top six positions and home games are the ones we have to win."

But it's a hard-to-beat Everton side that stand in City's way this afternoon and Richard noted: "They've done really well on the road this year, not been so great at home, but when they've played away they've picked up a lot of points.

"It's been a bit difficult for them at home this season but whenever you play them you're going to be in for a tough game, they battle right to the last minute and have got strong players all over the pitch.

"Over the last four or five years they've really progressed as a side and been one of the teams that have challenged to get into that top four."
