Loan Watch: Roque on target for Los Boquerones

Roque Santa Cruz was only on the pitch for three minutes when he scored Malaga’s third goal in an impressive 4-0 win over Valencia.
Malaga have been performing above all expectations so far this season and find themselves in fourth place, just four points behind Real Madrid in La Liga.
The Paraguayan hitman has scored four goals for the club since joining on loan during the summer.
Elsewhere, Jeremy Helan made his debut for Sheffield Wednesday but it wasn’t an occasion he’ll have savoured as the Owls went down 2-0 to Leicester City at Hillsborough.
The Frenchman played the full match but wasn’t able to halt Wednesday’s run of four matches without a win and they dropped into the relegation zone.
Meanwhile, Hibernian’s hopes of securing a first SPL title in 60 years took a knock with their defeat to rivals Aberdeen.
Ryan McGivern played the full 90 minutes of the narrow 1-0 loss but they’re still only a point behind Celtic at the table summit.
Reece Wabara celebrated two wins in a week as his Oldham Athletic side managed by Paul Dickov climbed to 16th place in the League One table.
Jonathan Grounds was the hero in the Latics’ 1-0 win over Shrewsbury on Saturday, scoring after 13 minutes in Wabara’s 15th game for the club.
Wayne Bridge is still missing for Brighton and Hove Albion due to injury, while Emyr Huws (Northampton), Omar Elabdellaoui (Feyenoord) and Dedryck Boyata (FC Twente) were all unused substitutes for their teams at the weekend.
