City’s Ivorian trio all played a part in Ivory Coast’s 4-2 friendly win over Egypt on Monday afternoon.
With the Africa Cup of Nations just a week away, Kolo Toure, Yaya Toure and Abdul Razak all played their part in an entertaining win in Abu Dhabi.
Both Kolo and Razak started the game with Yaya on the bench, but it was Egypt who went ahead through Mohamed Abo Trika on 20 minutes.
The Elephants - ranked in 14th in the world by FIIFA – 27 places higher than their opponents, fought back with two goals in two minutes just before the break with Yao Gervinho and Lacina Traore both scoring to give their team a 2-1 lead at half-time.
Razak, winning his third cap, was replaced by Didier Drogba for the second period and Yaya also came off the bench with Didier Zokora making way.
Gervinho added a third on 54 minutes, but Gedo pulled the Egyptians back into the game with a goal just past the hour to half the deficit.
The game was finally settled seven minutes from time by Didier Ya Konan who bundled home The Elephants fourth to complete a satisfying warm-up win for Sabri Lamouchi’s side.
Yaya, winning his 72 cap for his country, picked up an injury time booking but showed no effects of the illness that briefly hospitalized him last week and Kolo – winning cap No.103 - was one of just five players to play the full 90 minutes.
Ivory Coast begin their bid for Africa Cup of Nations glory against Togo on 22 January.
