City could have 15 players involved for ten different nations over the coming few days.

World Cup places are up for grabs for a quartet of the Blues in international action, namely: Yaya Toure, Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy and Costel Pantilimon.

Yaya’s Ivory Coast have one foot on the plane to Brazil after their 3-1 win over Senegal in the first-leg in Abidjan and will be hoping to finish the job in Casablanca on Saturday night.

In Europe, City duo Clichy and Nasri have a two-legged play-off against Ukraine to negotiate if they are to appear in next summer’s tournament.

Les Bleus travel to Ukraine for the first leg on Friday before hosting the Eastern European side in Paris next Tuesday.

Pantilimon was a late addition to the Romania squad after the injury to first-choice stopper, Ciprian Tatarusanu.

Costel's side are looking to end a 16-year absence from the World Cup finals with a play-off win over Greece.

Elsewhere, there are a plethora of international friendlies involving City players, with the most eye-catching taking place at the St Louis Cardinals Stadium in Missouri on Tuesday night.

Sergio Aguero and Pablo Zabaleta’s Argentina take on Edin Dzeko’s Bosnia-Herzegovina at the same venue City beat Chelsea in on the post-season tour of USA in May.

Three days before that, Argentina face Ecuador at New York’s Metlife Stadium.

Joe Hart is expected to be rested for England’s friendly against Chile on Friday but is likely to be picked by Roy Hodgson when the Three Lions take on Germany on Tuesday night, while James Milner will also be hoping to add to his 43 international caps.

With David Silva missing through injury and Javi Garcia not selected, it’s an unusually light delegation of City men travelling with the Spanish national team to Africa for a couple of friendlies.

Jesus Navas and Alvaro Negredo are our two representatives preparing for games against Equatorial Guinea and South Africa on Saturday and Tuesday respectively.

City EDS midfielder Emyr Huws told that he's hoping to make his Wales senior debut in Cardiff on Saturday evening when Finland provide the opposition, while Aleksandar Kolarov and Matija Nastasic return to action with Serbia for a friendly against Russia.

Meanwhile, John Guidetti makes his return to the international arena with Sweden under-21s who will face Malta on Tuesday evening.

We'll have a broadcast schedule for the games here on the site on Friday, letting you know where you can watch each of the nations in their respective countries and, if available, in the UK.
