32 City fans from 32 countries share their thoughts on the World Cup and their love of the Blues...

Your full name

Hamza Benferchouli

Your country

Algeria

Your town

Bejaia

Your age

22

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself

I come from the same town as Zinedine Zidane's ancestors.

Your favourite City player

From the past I would say Ali Benarbia and Shaun Wright-Phillips, now it has to be Pablo Zabaleta.

Your favourite player for your country

Goalkeeper Raïs M'Bolhi, a hero!

Who is your country's star player?

Sofiane Feghouli and Yacine Brahimi

How far do you think your country will get in the World Cup?

We got out of the group stage for the first time which is great achievement, but the 2-1 loss to Germany was a bit harsh. I think we played well and deserved to see the match go to penalties. I was disappointed but really proud of the team.

How important to your country is the World Cup?

The World Cup is simply the most important event in Algeria, people here love the beautiful game whether Algeria is playing or not. It's basically impossible to miss a minute of the World Cup.

Which country do you think will win the World Cup?

I have a feeling South American teams have a big role to play. I really enjoy watching Colombia and have simply fallen in love with James Rodriguez so I hope they can do it and bring it home.

What was the first World Cup you remember watching?

France 98, I was very young but I remember clearly Zidane scoring in the final… An Algerian connection!

What is your first memory of watching City?

When a certain English right back fed the Goat, I was there. I couldn't imagine anything better for the last Maine Road derby.
