Liverpool v Manchester City
Sunday 26th August 2012
Kick off – 4pm
Fans travelling to Liverpool for the match at Anfield on 26 August may wish to take advantage of the Soccerbus provided by Merseytravel.
The Soccerbus service operates to all Liverpool and Everton home matches, running for two hours before each match and 50 minutes after the final whistle (subject to availability).
It runs from Sandhills Merseyrail station, linking with Northern Line trains from Liverpool city centre (Liverpool Central or Moorfields), Southport, Hunts Cross, Ormskirk and Kirkby.
When buying your train ticket, simply ask for 'Anfield' and for just £1.30 extra, you’ll get a return ticket for the Soccerbus service. Alternatively, you can buy a ticket when you board the bus - a single/return ticket is just £1.60.
For more details about the Soccerbus service, download the Merseytravel leaflet, call the Merseytravel Brochure Hotline on 0151 330 1066 or visit the Merseyrail website.
