City v Aston Villa: Important supporter information

Important information ahead of tomorrow’s game against Aston Villa, Wednesday 7 May, kick off 7:45pm
Due to service diversion works at the Etihad Stadium, all supporters are urged to arrive early to avoid any delays when entering the stadium.
Specifically, supporters using Entrances K or B could face delays, and supporters, who usually use Commonwealth Way to approach Entrances N to T, (towards the South West corner of the stadium), will be redirected along Ashton New Road.
Access to the Etihad Campus & Etihad Stadium
Hoardings have been erected at the South end of the stadium to ensure that the service diversion works can be carried out safely. These works have may impact queuing and access through Entrances K and N. All entrances will be operational, however supporters are urged to arrive early to avoid delay.
Entrances N, P, R, S & T will not be accessible by supporters entering the stadium complex from Commonwealth Way. Supporters will be redirected onto Ashton New Road and will re-enter the site at the South end of the stadium opposite Entrance P.
Due to the above changes, we advise all supporters that use the Entrances affected to arrive and enter the stadium earlier than usual to avoid any delays in accessing the stadium prior to kick-off.
Visiting Supporters Access to the Etihad Campus & Etihad Stadium
In order to ensure that service diversion works can be carried out safely, hoardings have been erected at the South end (away end) of the Etihad Stadium.
This impacts the amount of space immediately outside the visiting supporters entrances and may impact queuing and access through these entrances; click here for a stadium plan. To assist fans arriving at the stadium, both additional signage and staff will be in place.
To ensure that all supporters enter the stadium via the correct entrances, we have implemented an additional soft ticket check upon arrival. We therefore advise all visiting supporters to arrive early to avoid any delays when entering the stadium. Read our Visiting Supporter Guide for more information.

Official Match Ticket
Entry to the Stadium will be granted on the presentation of a valid ticket purchased from the Club or through the Viagogo Ticket Exchange only. The Club excludes all liability to any supporter who is denied entry to the Stadium as a result of their ticket having been purchased through an unauthorised seller. The unauthorised sale or disposal of tickets may also amount to a criminal offence and the Club will inform the police as soon as it becomes aware of any unauthorised sale or disposal of tickets.
It is important that you have purchased, and are in possession of, the correct ticket and that it is activated to allow you access in to the stadium. If the supporter who originally purchased the ticket is no longer able to attend the match, please contact the Supporter Services team on +44 (0)161 444 1894 (option 1, option 3) to discuss, and where appropriate, upgrade your ticket. You can also upgrade on the day by visiting the Stadium Ticket Office. Failure to upgrade your ticket before you attempt to enter the ground may result in a stadium ban. We also advise all supporters to sit in the seat they have been allocated, failure to do so may result in further action being taken.
All home supporters who are collecting pre-purchased tickets may do so from the Stadium Ticket Office located in BT City Square (behind the stage). Supporters are strongly advised to collect their tickets at least 60 minutes before kick-off to avoid delays in getting into the Stadium. Supporters with queries relating to their Seasoncard or match ticket should also visit the Stadium Ticket Office.
Guests collecting Hospitality tickets should do so from either the City@Home reception located by Gate 11, or from the East Stand reception. All guests will receive confirmation of their collection point by email. Should you have any questions regarding your collection point, you can contact a Matchday Hospitality representative by email at email@example.com or by phone on +44 (0)161 444 1894 (option 1, option 2). Any City@Home collections that remain 15 minutes after kick-of will be sent to the Colin Bell Stand reception for late arrivals.
The following items are not allowed to be brought in to the Etihad Stadium:
- Pyrotechnics, flares and smoke bombs
- Golf umbrella or any article that may be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety.
- Professional recording equipment (audio and visual).
- Bags larger than A4 size.

The Ticket Office and Supporter Services are open Monday - Saturday, 9am to 5:30pm (closed Sunday & Bank Holiday).
