City’s reunion with Mario Balotelli and Nigel de Jong is officially on!
That’s because the Blues have been drawn against Milan in the semi-final of Audi Cup 2013.
Bayern Munich and Sao Paulo will contest the other semi-final immediately after City meet the Rossoneri for a place in the final of the competition at the Allianz Arena.
This A-list billing has so far attracted supporters in their droves who have snapped up more than half of the tickets for the tournament which kicks off on 31 July.
The competition format allows supporters travelling over to Munich to watch all four teams on both days, with day tickets available for the two semi-finals taking place back-to-back on 31 July, as well as on 1 August for the third and fourth place play-off and final.
Kick-off times on both days will be at 18:15 and 20:30.
UEFA Champions League winners Bayern were beaten finalists in the last Audi Cup in 2011, ironically coming unstuck in the final against Guardiola’s all-conquering Barcelona courtesy of a Thiago Alcantara brace.
City last appeared at the Allianz Arena in the 2-0 Champions League defeat to Bayern back in 2011.
Tickets start from as little as €20 per day for the competition and are now available to purchase on the Bayern Munich website.
