Familiar stories dominate the City landscape today, with the papers trying to say something new over Carlos Tevez and John Terry.

The Mirror and the Guardian says that Chelsea are holding talks with John Terry today, while the Independent are of the opinion that he has already been told by Mr Abramovich that he's going nowhere. The same paper also asserts that we will "table" a bid for Joleon Lescott regardless of the Terry outcome.

The Mail are convinced that Carlos Tevez will be a City player on Tuesday, just in time for the trip to South Africa. Fulham's highly-rated Brede Hamgeland is interesting us, according to the Sun, while Micah's bout of swine flu rates a mention in the Times.

The Guardian throws us another name to conjure with, Brazilian Douglas Costa, the "new Ronaldinho" no less!
