Emmanuel Adebayor is back at the Club and inevitably the papers are wondering if he will step immediately into action for tomorrow night's Carling Cup second leg at Old Trafford.
Manu flew back on Sunday after his compassionate leave following the horrific atttack on the Togo team bus at the African Nations Cup in Angola in which three people were killed.
The often well-informed Bill Thornton, in the Daily Star, writes: "Manchester City are ready to throw Emmanuel Adebayor into tomorrow's derby showdown with United.
"Adebayor trained for the first time yesterday and was given an emotional welcome by his City team-mates.
"The £25m striker was hugged and kissed by Blues players before completing a full session watched by Roberto Mancini, who has to decide whether to start with Adebayor or leave him on the bench at Old Trafford.
"All the signs are that he will be involved in some way. Adebayor could be joined by Kolo Toure, who is expected back from Angola today following Ivory Coast's 3-2 KO by Algeria."
The Mail runs a great back-page pic of Manu looking refreshed in training and also speculates that he could be on the bench at Old Trafford under the heading "Out of Africa, into the derby".
